Create a funky, steampunk-style mixed media pendant with some easy-to-find hardware, 2 different kinds of zipper, and a beautiful artisan-made lampwork bead. Students are encouraged to bring their own tools, but there will be tools to share.

Some skills or techniques to be learned:
1) Students will learn to work with zippers
2) Students will learn to make a coiled bail
3) Students will learn to how to oxidize and finish their pendants.

Date: Saturday, October 21st, 2017
Class Length: 3 Hours (9am - noon)

Class price includes instruction and kit fees.

Materials supplied in kit:
18 gauge wire, 20″
26 gauge wire, 96″
16 gauge wire, 9″
Printed tutorial
(Chain or leather will be available for purchase for an additional fee.)

Tools students should bring: Round and chain nose pliers, nylon-jawed pliers, flush cutters, fine permanent marker. Optional: bench block and hammer

We will also have a trunk show between the two classes. Maria's kits and other items will be available for purchase between 12:00 and 2:00pm on the date of the classes.

Note: These classes will be held in a location only accessible by stairs.
