Sunday, March 6th from 1:30PM to 4:30PM

If you have been saving silver scraps but don’t know what to do with it, here is an easy technique to custom cast charms and even rings. Using ancients techniques you will learn to transform scrap silver into wearable or usable pieces. (Although silver will be provided, students are welcome to bring additional silver scrap or grain to use during class.)

Skill Level: Beginner
Session: 3 hours
Max Class size: 12 (no one under 18 years of age)
Class fee: $79
Materials Fee (To be invoiced separately): $70
Enough silver for 2 charms. SS casting grain, FS casting grain, sand paper, SS jump rings, cuttlebone

Students are asked to bring:
Eye Protection
Wire cutters
Chain nose pliers
Needle files
X-Acto knife

Provided by Instructor:
Fire tweezers
Propane torches
Stirring rods
Flux paste
Tin cups with sand
Quenching bowls
Pickle pot

This class will take place at the Art Center at Main Exhibit Gallery.
